Cable Thief, Electrocuted who was attempting to steal Uniq FM 103.1 Power Cables. A suspected cable thief was electrocuted last week while allegedly attempting to steal electrical cables belonging to Uniq FM 103.1 Ilesa. The incident occurred at the station’s facility, drawing the attention of security personnel and residents in the area.
Before losing consciousness, the suspect reportedly confessed to being part of a gang responsible for several cable thefts around the Orita Iloko/Express axis in Ilesa.
It was also revealed that the suspect works as a night security guard at a mechanic workshop located in Orita Iloko, raising concerns about the involvement of insiders or trusted personnel in such criminal activities.
According to the eye witness narrated the incident to our reporter via Facebook earlier this morning, he disclosed that the situation has been reported to the appropriate quarters for further investigation.
