Bolaji Abdullahi: ADC Will End Banditry Where APC Has Given Up

1 min read

Bolaji Abdullahi, former Minister of Sports and interim spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has vowed that the opposition coalition will prioritize ending banditry in Katsina State ahead of the 2027 elections.

His statement was a direct response to Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, who had mocked the coalition as lacking fresh ideas. Abdullahi accused the ruling APC of abandoning the fight against insecurity and promised that the coalition would succeed where the APC has failed. This comes weeks after the Katsina government denied negotiating with bandits, claiming instead it is focused on reintegrating repentant ones.

In his post on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter), Abdullahi hit back, accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of abandoning the fight against insecurity in the state. He pointed specifically to the worsening banditry crisis plaguing Katsina.
