Osun – Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has issued a directive instructing newly elected local government chairmen and councillors to refrain from entering their respective council secretariats.
According to reports from The Nation, the governor gave the order on Sunday during the swearing-in ceremony held at the Government House, Oke-Fia, Osogbo. The directive is aimed at preventing clashes with individuals who are allegedly occupying the offices unlawfully.
Governor Adeleke also commended the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) for conducting the local government elections held on February 22, 2025.
