The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
WAEC made the announcement in on Monday, August 4, 2025, through a statement published on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
The examination body confirmed that candidates who participated in this year’s WASSCE can now access their results online.
The statement reads,
“The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025.”
WAEC also urged all candidates to check their results via the council’s result-checking portal.
“To access the result, log on to http://waecdirect.org,” the examination body advised.
