FG disburses N250,000 grants to small businesses at Ondo MSME clinic

The Federal Government has disbursed N250,000 each to outstanding small business owners in Ondo State as part of its continued push to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

According to the official X handle of Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), the announcement by Vice President Kashim Shettima during the launch of the 7th edition of the Expanded National MSME Clinics, held Tuesday at The Dome, Akure, Ondo State.

Shettima said the N250,000 grant is not a loan, but a gift from the Nigerian people, delivered through their government to honour and support local industry champions.

“This is not a loan. It is a gift from the Nigerian people, through their government, to the champions of local industry. It is our way of saying: we see you, we value you, and we believe in your journey,” the Vice President stated.
