One week after zoning its 2027 presidential ticket to the South, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has set machinery in motion to consolidate its structures across the six geopolitical zones.
The exercise, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 3, will be supervised by the Directorate of Finance at the PDP National Secretariat, located at Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The move is part of the official timetable for the 2025 elective national convention scheduled to be held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15–16.
The screening exercise for all contestants is scheduled for September 30, after which a list of successful candidates will be released and provisional clearance certificates issued.
