The Nigerian Army has released the list of shortlisted candidates for the Short Service Combatant Commission Course 49/2026. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday and signed by the Military Secretary (Army), confirming that the full list is now accessible on the official recruitment portal: recruitment.army.mil.ng.
According to the Army, successful candidates are expected to report to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Ribadu Campus in Kaduna State, on December 1, 2025. They are advised to arrive a day earlier — November 30 — and must check in at the venue between 6 am and 11 am on the reporting date.
The statement cautioned that anyone who arrives after 11 am on December 1 will be automatically disqualified. Candidates are also required to come with original and photocopies of all academic and professional documents, including NYSC discharge or exemption certificates.
