NYSC Releases 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Timetable

2 min read

The National Youth Service Corps has released the timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation exercise, outlining key dates for prospective corps members across the country.

According to the schedule, activities for the mobilisation process began with the briefing of final-year students and prospective corps members from 23rd February to 27th March.

Officials said the timetable provides “a clear guide” for all those preparing for national service.

The NYSC said pre-camp physical verification for foreign-trained graduates took place between 24th and 28th March, while its ICT department is expected to process data and deployment details from 9th to 17th April.

Prospective corps members are expected to print their call-up letters between 19th and 21st April, a key step before reporting to orientation camps.

The scheme noted that “all dates are tentative and subject to change,” urging candidates to monitor official updates.

The orientation course, which is the final stage of mobilisation, is expected to begin shortly after the release of call-up letters, although the exact camp opening date has not been formally announced.

The NYSC mobilisation process includes several stages such as verification, deployment and documentation, all of which must be completed before participation in the one-year national service.

The scheme advised prospective corps members to follow the timetable closely, noting that missing any stage could delay participation in the service year.

NYSC runs three batches each year, and the program remains mandatory for eligible Nigerian graduates.
