Adeboye Urges Nigerians to Embrace Covenant with God

Lagos, Nigeria  —   Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has called on Nigerians to enter into a covenant with God for national transformation.

Speaking at RCCG’s 2nd Thanksgiving Service of the year in Ebute Metta, Lagos, Adeboye emphasized that a covenant is a sacred contract, sealed with blood, and carries significant consequences if broken.

Delivering a sermon titled “Covenant-Keeping God,” he assured that those who honor their covenant with God would experience divine protection, abundance, and favor.

Adeboye, joined by Pastor Dele Balogun, Assistant General Overseer (Administration), highlighted RCCG’s global expansion as a testament to God’s faithfulness in honoring covenants. He also shared personal testimonies, including divine protection from a snake attack at the church camp.

Pastor Balogun reflected on his 41-year journey in RCCG, attributing his good health and academic success to his covenant with God.

Meanwhile, Chief Folashade Adedeji Ogidigbo, representing Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, announced the resolution of a market dispute in Mushin, leading to the reopening of a trader’s shop.

The service reinforced the significance of faith, commitment, and divine partnership in overcoming life’s challenges.
