Fayemi Denies Involvement in Anti-Tinubu Coalition

NIGERIA – In an exclusive report, former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has refuted claims of being part of any political coalition opposing President Bola Tinubu. Speaking through a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who requested anonymity, Fayemi dismissed the allegations as false and politically motivated, emphasizing his continued loyalty to the APC and its leadership.

According to the APC insider, some politicians are deliberately linking Fayemi’s name to their agenda to boost their credibility. The source asserted that Fayemi has no connection to such a coalition. Addressing the issue himself, Fayemi expressed frustration over the recurring rumors, stating, “Is this how coalitions are launched? I’m tired of responding to baseless reports. While I may disagree with the President’s actions in Rivers, that doesn’t mean I’m part of any opposition group.”

When asked about an apology supposedly issued on his behalf for missing a coalition press conference, Fayemi dismissed it outright, remarking, “Apology for what? These journalists just create fiction.”
