1 min read

Former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has regained his freedom after several hours of interrogation at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission headquarters. He was invited by the anti-graft agency over allegations tied to his tenure in office.

In a brief statement issued after his release, Malami expressed gratitude and described the session as successful. He attributed his release to what he called divine intervention.

Malami further stated that he is scheduled to return for additional questioning as investigations continue, insisting that the accusations against him are baseless and will eventually be disproven.
