Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025–26 season, bringing an end to his nine-year spell at Anfield.

The 33-year-old forward has agreed to depart on a free transfer, one year before the expiration of his contract in 2027.

Liverpool confirmed the development in an official statement, describing Salah as one of the club’s greatest players.

The club added that the Egyptian remains focused on finishing the season strongly as Liverpool continue their campaign.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and has since scored over 250 goals, winning major honours including the Premier League title.

He is expected to receive a fitting send-off at Anfield later this year.
