Governor Adeleke emphasized that his focus remains on delivering good governance and the dividends of democracy to the people of Osun, who entrusted him with their mandate nearly three years ago. The governor urged the public to disregard any reports linking him with defection, stressing that such claims are baseless and unfounded.

Supporters and party members were also advised to ignore fake news and instead channel their energy toward mobilizing support for his re-election under the PDP platform.
