The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has warned parents to protect their family’s reputation by discouraging children from engaging in indecent acts during sign-out celebrations in tertiary institutions.
At the agency’s civic engagement drive in Osogbo, NOA Director of Human Resources, Ayisola Olowoyo, speaking on behalf of the Director-General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, condemned the trend of writing on the breasts and laps of female students, describing it as a violation of Nigeria’s national values.
He announced plans to launch the National Values Charter, a guide promoting discipline, honesty, integrity, and responsibility, while urging parents to instill the right behavior in their children to safeguard their family’s name.
