Police Arrest Two Over Murder Of Commercial Motorcyclist In Osun

The Osun State Police Command has arrested two suspects, identified as Habeeb Adedayo and Akeem Fawas, in connection with the killing of a commercial motorcyclist in Iwo.

The state police command spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi, disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that the suspects were apprehended in Ibafo, Ogun State, while attempting to sell the victim’s motorcycle.

According to the police, the suspects confessed to luring the 26-year-old deceased, Segun Olatunji, under the guise of hiring him to convey them to a farm, after which Adedayo allegedly stabbed him in the neck and slit his throat.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to having posed as farmers and lured the deceased by employing his service to convey them from Odo-Ori area, Iwo, to their farmland along Olupon, Iwo, with an enticing sum of five thousand naira (N5,000).
