“The Kwara Police Command wishes to state unequivocally that this report is not only false but also misleading, with the intent to cause panic in the state. Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard this false and misleading information, as there is no report of any female police officer missing or abducted in any division in the state.

“There is no Ogidi Police Division in Kwara State. The spread of such misinformation is not only harmful to reputations but also distressing to individuals and the people of Kwara State,” the statement added.

The Command further stated that it is working closely with other security agencies in the state to continue protecting lives and property, preventing crimes, and maintaining peace. It urged the public and media outlets to refrain from sharing unverified or sensational information that could cause unnecessary panic or damage the state’s reputation.
