President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lead top political and religious figures to the 10th General Assembly of the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025.
The announcement was made during a press briefing in Osogbo by the President of MUSWEN and Deputy President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo. The event, hosted by the Osun State Muslim Community, will hold at the Bola Babalakin Hall in Gbongan at 10:00 a.m.
According to Oladejo, Tinubu will serve as the Father of the Day, while Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke will co-host alongside other Southwest governors including Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo and Seyi Makinde of Oyo. Also expected to attend is the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, alongside other prominent dignitaries.
