The Police Service Commission (PSC) has cautioned applicants in the ongoing Nigeria Police Force recruitment exercise against paying money to cyber cafés or middlemen.
The Commission said it has received complaints that some cyber cafés and agents are demanding ₦15,000 or more from applicants, falsely claiming the money is shared with the PSC or other agencies involved in the recruitment process.
In a statement, the PSC stressed that recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force is entirely free and advised applicants to apply independently through the official portal, npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to avoid fraud and exploitation.
