Actress Rita Daniels Chukwuji, mother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, has declared her intention to contest for the presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
Abubakar Yakubu, the current national secretary of the guild, in the race to succeed Emeka Rollas, whose tenure ends in December 2025 after serving since 2017.
Rita’s manifesto was released on the guild’s official Instagram page on Thursday, where she pledged to run a leadership that will protect, value, and empower members of the guild.
The National Electoral Committee has been set up to oversee the election, which is scheduled to hold on December 6.
