Sunday Igboho has criticised Aregbesola for showing a lack of loyalty to his Yoruba roots. Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemi, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has criticised Aregbesola for collaborating with the northern politician in what he claims is a plot to derail President Bola Tinubu’s chances for a second term.
While speaking at Olu of Ife palace on Tuesday. He expressed his grievances with Aregbesola decamping and setting up the political liaison of ADC as a new party to antagonise against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. Oba Alao also expressed confidence in the continuity of Yoruba leadership at the federal level, asserting that Tinubu will complete his eight years.
“A Yoruba man will be in the presidency until 2031,” he stated.
In his disclosure, Igboho appealed during his visit to the monarch, urging the federal government to remove his name from the wanted list, not a criminal as stated at the federal level.
