The Residents of the Kajola community in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State were thrown into mourning this week after the shocking discovery of a 28-year-old man, Ifeanyi Otu, allegedly killed by his neighbor, Eze Amadi.
According to the Ondo State Police Command, Amadi was arrested after community members caught him trying to dispose of the victim’s body, which had been hidden inside a water drum and wrapped with foam.
Police Confirm Arrest
The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the arrest in a chat with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday. “The suspect is already in our custody, the investigation is ongoing, and once it is concluded, he will be charged in court. We urge residents to remain calm as the law will take its course,” Ayanlade said.
