Panic has gripped residents and business owners in Dada Estate, Osogbo, following the discovery of a dead body outside Yoyinade Complex, near Payless Supermarket.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the man was pulled out unconscious from a nearby gutter by police officers earlier in the week. Sadly, he later died, and the body has since remained at the scene as of Monday — raising serious public health concerns.
Locals are now calling on the Osun State Government, the Ministry of Health, and relevant agencies to urgently evacuate the body to prevent a possible outbreak of disease or environmental hazard.
Meanwhile, residents are demanding a full investigation into the victim’s identity and the circumstances surrounding his death.
