In videos shared on her Instagram page, Johnson-Okojie appeared notably leaner, prompting a stream of comments from fans speculating about her health. Some questioned if she was well, while others urged her to “take care” and “look in the mirror.”

Responding to the attention, the actress clarified that her weight loss was the result of using and promoting slimming products. She firmly denied undergoing any form of surgical enhancement, stating in one video, “I’ve been selling weight-loss products for years… one of them will dry you up in two months.”
Despite her explanation, many fans remain skeptical. A follower, identified as Real_princess_bridget, wrote, “Respectfully, your dramatic weight loss usually requires medical intervention… procedures like gastric bypass or medications like Ozempic.” Another user, IjeomaChinaza, criticized her for allegedly misleading the public about the effectiveness of the products.
The debate comes in the wake of the actress’s past health revelation. In a previous episode of her cooking show, Mercy’s Menu, she disclosed undergoing thyroid surgery after a lump was found on her neck — a procedure initially feared to be cancer-related. Though she confirmed it was only a scare, she revealed she is now on lifelong medication to manage the condition.
While some fans have praised her confidence, others expressed nostalgia for her former look. “Please add weight,” one user commented, while another added, “Being skinny didn’t make her look younger, she looks older now.”
