An unusual security breach reportedly took place at the FCMB Secretariat, according to a post making the rounds on social media.

Eyewitness accounts say the incident began when a man walked into the premises pretending to be a customer. He went straight to the restroom, locked himself in, and somehow made his way to the ceiling.

Later that evening, after staff had closed for the day and left the building, the man is said to have come down from the ceiling and attempted to access the office’s systems. He then locked himself inside the office. When employees returned the next morning, they found the office door locked from the inside. After breaking it open, they discovered the man still hiding in the ceiling. As they turned on the systems, a strange message appeared on the screen: “Restarting, click OK to accept.”

Authorities are yet to confirm the man’s identity or what his intentions were. The suspect was eventually taken down by security operatives, who found him attempting to tamper with the bank’s system. As of press time, the bank has yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
