INEC Sets October 6 For Nat’l Stakeholders’ Engagement

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) will hold a World Press Conference and national stakeholders’ engagement on October 6, 2026, as preparations intensify for the 2027 General Election.
The engagement will be addressed by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN.
According to the commission, the event will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, from 10:00 a.m.
The engagement is expected to bring together the commission and key stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to the electoral body, INEC said the event is strictly by invitation.
