NYSC announces new date for 2026 batch ‘C’ orientation camp

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced September 30, 2026, as the start date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation course.
The three-week exercise will take place at orientation camps across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory and end on October 20, 2026.
NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, announced the schedule in a statement issued on Tuesday.
According to the statement, registration of prospective corps members will begin on Wednesday, September 30, and end on Friday, October 2.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new corps members is also scheduled for Friday, October 2, after registration.
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier Olakunle Nafiu, wished prospective corps members and officials taking part in the exercise safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.
Nafiu also advised prospective corps members not to travel at night while making their way to the camps.
He urged them to use vehicles operating from designated motor parks as part of measures to ensure their safety during the journey.
